The new improved 2009 Range Rover Sport is one of three updated Land Rover models that make their debut at the 78e Salon International de l’Automobile Geneva. It includes an improved exterior trim, sharp new wheel designs and new touces to the interior with excellent craftsmanship that underline the premium feel.

The Range Rover Sport has been selling extremely well through 2007 and into 2008. In 2007 a total of 226,000 cars were sold. Phil Popham who is the managing director of Land Rover, comments; “Sales have been driven by the hugely popular TDV8 engine, especially in Europe, which offers petrol-like refinement but with 32% better fuel economy.”

  2. I have a Land Rover on the island of Cozumel. Believe it or not, I got that thing stuck in four feet of powdery white sand on the back side of the isle. I was forever teased by friends around the globe about this. “How can you get the top all-terrain vehicle on the planet STUCK?” Well, I am happy to say that I actually used my luxury all-terrain vehicle for the purpose in which it was made….plowing through the jungles and beaches all the while looking great in my Land Rover while doing so!! It may not surprise you that the Mexican military had to help me out of this situation!!

Now I have downsized from a Tahoe to a Mercedes. So I think those who know me can rest assure that my sinking the unsinkalbe, well at least while in Florida anyways. When I get back to my Land Rover on the island, the story may change!
